She is widely known for her life-changing speaking, teaching, prophetic insight, and ministry events. Her debut book Look At This Woman: Destroying the Bondage of Low Self-Esteem, has helped many to enhance their self-esteem. In addition to being a published author, Veda McCoy has released three music projects, Reality (1993); Over Again (1996); and Renewed Strength ~ Live in
Veda McCoy is committed to helping ordinary people – particularly women – lead extraordinary lives. Every summer, people travel nationwide to attend her “Annual Old Fashioned Prayer Breakfast.” This annual event stirs up the gift and power of prayer in the lives of attendees and reignites their passion for on-going, intimate fellowship with God. Veda McCoy also leads several initiatives that encourage personal growth, provide mentorship, cultivate ideas and talents, and inspire people to dream and revitalize their lives. A few include, Sisters of The Light, a mentoring program for women and young girls; Finding Elizabeth Mentoring Program, a complete mentoring curriculum, Sisters With Things in Common, a fellowship for women leaders, and LifePOWER, a series of life-coaching workshops for everyone.
In addition to being a spiritual leader, pastor and life coach, Veda McCoy is also a passionate educator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from
