Pastor Marvin E. McCoy is a powerful, dynamic awesome man of God. He serves as the Senior Pastor of the Judah Christian Center, a thriving and growing church, located in Clinton MD, (a suburb of Washington, DC.) which he founded in April 2004 along with the love of his life Co-pastor Veda McCoy. He and his wife, Co-Pastor Veda A. McCoy, are also founders of Marvin and Veda McCoy Ministries LLC, an enterprise committed to sharing the good news and transforming power of Christ's gospel to the world. They have been married since June 1985 and are the proud parents of two, Marvin Myer and Johntae Marvyce.
Pastor Marvin is a third generation preacher born and raised in the F.B.H. church. He is the youngest son born to Pastors Marshall and Odessa McCoy of Thomasville NC. He credits his love and commitment for God from the influences of his parents and his grandparents.

Pastor Marvin was ordained as an elder in the Mt. Calvary Holy Churches of America, Inc. He served as the Minister of Music for the Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church, under the leadership of Bishop Alfred A. Owens, Jr. and Co-Pastor Susie C. Owens, for almost 20 years.

Pastor Marvin is a graduate of Calvary Bible Institute and holds an undergraduate degree in music from the University of the District of Columbia.

Pastor Marvin is a gift to the body of Christ. His message of hope and encouragement is changing the lives of people everyday. He is also known for his musical gift as song writer, worship leader and musician. He has songs recorded by some of gospel greats such as, Bishop Paul Morton, Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, Gospel Music Workshop of America, Mike McCoy and Voices United and his wife Co-Pastor Veda McCoy. He has worked with several producers and artist Isaiah Thomas, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, William Becton, Shirley Ceasar, Thomas Whitfield, Donald Vails, Keith Pringle and several others.
Because of his continued dedication to music ministry, in 2007 Pastor Marvin formed McCoy Music Group where he severs as CEO. M.M.C. is a consulting firm which offers musical counseling to Pastors, churches and Ministers of Music also a mentorship to and for ministers of music, church musicians and choir directors.

Veda McCoy is a dynamic and influential woman who lives a life devoted to spiritual growth and public service. She motivates and inspires thousands of people worldwide as a speaker, teacher, author, leader, and vocalist. She has been married to her life partner and best friend, Senior Pastor Marvin E. McCoy for over 26 years and is the mother of two children, Minister Marvin M. McCoy and Ms. Johntae McCoy.

Veda McCoy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Bowie State University, (Magna cum laude), a Master of Theological Studies degree from Wesley Theological Seminary (high honors), and is also a board-certified English teacher in the state of Maryland. She is currently employed as a Reading Specialist with the Prince George’s County Public Schools, where she is a highly-respected instructional leader. She is currently pursuing the Educational Supervision and School Administration masters degree, also at Bowie State.
Veda McCoy is an ordained elder, having served for nearly twenty years at Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church in Washington, DC in a number of capacities, including lead soloist, worship leader, missionary, altar worker and the Founder and Director of the Ministers in Training Program.

Elder Veda McCoy uses universal principles to elevate people from mediocrity to greatness, as they strive to live their best lives. A leader of leaders, she is committed to helping ordinary people – particularly women – achieve optimum impact in the world. She is widely known for her keen prophetic insight and life-changing events. Her debut book Look At This Woman: Destroying the Bondage of Low Self-Esteem, has helped many to enhance their self-image. Her sophomore publication is entitled, LifePOWER ~ Six Winning Strategies to a Life of Purpose, Passion and Power. LifePOWER is also a complete self-empowerment program, offering inspirational quotes, strategic planning, vision manifestation, individual life coaching, and corporate team building.

Veda McCoy is the founder and host of the Annual Old Fashioned Prophetic Prayer Breakfast, held each summer and also includes training for prophetic ministry. Also a gifted vocalist, Veda McCoy has released three solo projects, entitled Reality, Over Again and Renewed Strength. Her anointed and melodious voice has allowed her to travel extensively with many gospel greats, including Pastor Shirley Caesar.
In April 2004, Elder McCoy joined her husband, Senior Pastor Marvin E. McCoy, and established Judah Christian Center Church of Clinton, Maryland where she serves as the Executive Pastor.

Veda McCoy’s ultimate goal is to see people enjoying their divine right to live, love and pursue their dreams. Her motto is, “I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach many people – religious and nonreligious – entering their world to lead them into a God-filled life.” (I Corinthians 9:19)
